A sign for the Clyde Coastal Path at Mount Pleasant Drive.

The road bridge across the A878 connecting the park next to the Erskine Bridge to Mount Pleasant Drive. The path around the northern part of this area is presently closed while works are being undertaken.

A poor quality path, with a hump, at a crossing with a track at Dalnottar.

A rather uninviting entrance to the Thomas Wood Path at Duntocher.

The A-frame at the end of the Thomas Wood Path is too narrow for the handlebars on my new bike.

The Thomas Wood Path to Duntocher is part of the Clyde Coastal Path.

A shiny new kissing gate on the Clyde Coastal Path. The kissing gate is very narrow and has a latch making it extremely difficult to negotiate with a bike.

Gates across the track. This section of the Clyde Coastal Path isn't suitable for cycling. Indeed walking on this muddy and sometimes flooded track isn't ideal, and people have cut across part of the field to avoid the track.

Lots of signs at this junction on the Clyde Coastal Path. I can't help wondering if the blank section on the directions signs was meant for a Clyde Coastal Path logo, to save having duplicate signs.

Perhaps the speed limit here needs to be reviewed, as well as the car parking arrangements beyond the junction.

Local direction signage but none for the Clyde Coastal Path.

Signage for the Clyde Coastal Path as well as for local directions.
