Since my last visit, a short section of wider path has been laid, but ends here.

The path to the canal could not only be wider, and have a dropped kerb at the end, but could also meet the road nearer the corner to avoid being blocked by parked vehicles. The priority sign to the right needs corrected too.

No widening of this narrow footway took place to convert it into the Clydebank North Circular Link cycleway. Pathetic!

The cycle routes from the council offices to Dumbarton's two railway stations appear to cross the A82 on this split pedestrian crossing, and use the narrow footway on the far side. No attempt has been made to actually provide a proper cycle ... [more]
